Psalm 32:10

Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of God is Better Than Cake

I’m your host, Lottie and today we’re going to ask a very simple but important question.

Would you like to be overcome with sorrows or surrounded by love?

I think if you’re like most people you want to feel loved.

Today’s verse comes from Psalm 32:10

“Many sorrows come to the wicked,

but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD.”

– Psalm 32:10 ESV

I memorized this verse when I was 2 years old and it’s still taped to my wall above my bed. It’s not always easy to trust the Lord but what a promise to be surrounded by love!

Another thing we can decipher from this verse is that the opposite of being wicked is trusting in the Lord. I don’t think people who hate God trust in Him because they are too busy trusting in themselves and are lost.

Let’s pray for the wicked that are surrounded by sorrows and ask God to help us trust in Him more.

Dear Lord, there are many people who do not love you or trust in you and they are surrounded by sorrows or soon will be. Please help them to see the truth and to turn from their wicked ways and love you.

Help all who know you to trust you more each day even in the hardest of times. Help us to never give up. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. In your name I pray, amen!

I think we should all go to someone we know and tell them we love them. I love my mom and dad and sister and brother and I’m going to go tell them now.
