Isaiah 26:3-4
Welcome back to another episode of God is Better Than Cake, I’m your host, Lottie!
Listen to this verse from Isaiah and remember that it was written in the time before Jesus came because remember he left the Holy Spirit with us.
In other words, we now have his law written on our hearts and should be able to do this even easier.
Isaiah 26:3-4
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
– Isaiah 26:3-4 ESV
Well, this is really great but it’s also still hard for me. Most of the time I’m thinking about other things, how about you?
That’s why I created this podcast though. I wanted to help you with a daily reminder of God’s goodness and encourage you to walk closely with him. And that helps me too!
I don’t know about you but being kept in perfect peace sounds absolutely amazing.
That’s why it’s good to read the Bible, talk to God all throughout the day, dwell on his goodness and meditate on scripture.
Let’s meditate on this verse today, ok? It’s a great starting point.
Heavenly Father, what a gift you are! Thank you for sending Jesus and making a way for us to be able to once again fellowship with you, having clean hearts and an upright spirit. Jesus, help my weak heart to trust in you and help me and my listeners to keep our minds stayed on you.
In Jesus name, Amen!
I hope this message was encouraging. If it was, leave a comment on Spotify or on YouTube. My mom and dad will share it with me.
Thank you for listening to another episode of God is Better Than Cake. Remember to be kind to one another.
Until next time, Ciao
