Psalm 121
Welcome back to another episode of God is Better Than Cake, I’m your host, Lottie!
In today’s episode, I am going to talk with my mommy about one of our favorite chapters of the Bible right now.
Hi Mom!
Hi Lottie! I am so excited to share about this chapter, and also the song that talks about it!
Oh yes! I’ll read today’s Bible passage first, Psalm 121
“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.“
– Psalm 121 ESV
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
Wow, that Psalm is so comforting! Sometimes I say these verses to myself when I am struggling or scared.
I do too! And also the song that is based on this Psalm.
Oh yes! It’s called He Will Keep You, by Sovereign Grace. I love singing that song with you!
I love it too! Thanks for being on the show, mom.
Thank you for listening to another episode of God is Better Than Cake. Remember to be kind to one another, and make sure to sing this song together as a family sometime this week. I think you’ll love it.
Until next time, Ciao
